Polylactic acid (PLA) biodegradable straws are a new type of eco-friendly straw produced from polylactic acid. They offer clear benefits in energy savings, lower emissions, and environmental protection. Multiple designs of these PLA straws have already been developed. In both look and performance they come very close to conventional polypropylene straws. The finished product shows good gloss and transparency, while also delivering safety, hygiene, environmental friendliness, and full biodegradability. Shelf life reaches 12 months.
